IDC THAILAND TESTIMONIALS
'Camille nurtured my enthusiasm in the PADI system of diver education. He
was always willing to provide coaching and advice during my preparation, IDC
and prior to my Instructor Exam. I found the lecture and practical sessions
informal, fun and friendly and feel I couldn't have been better prepared for
the future. I would like to personally thanks Camille for his efforts.'

Hi I'm Shane Furze PADI MSDT (479555) and
I completed my IDC with Camille in 2004 which was an excellent learning, dive tuning and confidence building two weeks.
After being a bit apprehensive of starting the course I was completely put at ease by Camille's teaching abilities and years of experience in the dive industry which he is able to draw on and pass on to you and by doing so you are learning the real thing.
Camille wants you to become a brilliant instructor, after you pass your IE, you will not only become a dive professional and a ambassador for PADI but also proof of how good a teacher he is.
After completing my IE, I went on to get nine specialities with Camille which was a unique experience and completed an internship to gain the MSDT rating.
I work in the superyacht industry as an engineer but since gaining my instructor licence I now also have the pleasure of taking our guests and crew diving around the world.

chief engineer, S/Y Vent D'Est

I have been lucky enough to have sat in on two of Camille's IDCs. I completed my IDC Staff course with Camille in 2004, and Camille was kind enough to then let me staff an IDC with him, further helping me with my presentation and scoring techniques. During this time Camille was encouraging and always available to help or advise.
Camille is a very experienced Course Director / Instructor, and this shows in his presentations. The classroom time with Camille was always informative, yet still entertaining. Camille knows the PADI system inside out, and knows how to help YOU get through your IDC.

Its taken me a few weeks to get round to it but I thought I should write a quick letter to say that how happy I was with the IDC course that I done with Camille in Koh Samui and would recommend anyone thinking of doing the course to do it with him.
I started off full of confidence thinking that it would be no problem, but soon into the IDC I realized that it was a going to need a reasonable amount of work and effort to pass this which started me doubting myself ,but with reassurance and help from Camille by the time I finished the IDC I felt that I had the knowledge and skills to pass the IE (which I did J ) .We were taught in a relaxed but professional way and were given all the information (and a bit extra ) to pass the IE.
This wasn’t the first Course Director I looked at doing my course with. I done a little homework myself online and with the phone speaking to different Course Directors and although based in the UK I work the summer season in Cyprus (plug for www.pwmarinedivers.com ) so had plenty of options of different course directors and decided to opt to fly to Koh Samui to do my course. There are already good reviews of Camille’s courses online and after speaking to him several times on the phone and him answering all my questions I decided I would do my course there which I’m happy to say I passed.
Hopefully in 2008 I shall be back to do my Staff Instructor course with him.
Regards
Stuart Hurley, UK, OWSI, 2007 IDC

My Name is Mr Andrew M Twigg PADI (OWSI 636698)
As part of my end of service in the British Army I chose to resettle into civilian life by attending the PADI Instructor Development Course and become a PADI Diving Instructor.
Having served as a Military Diver for 22 years I thought this would be a breeze! After all; ‘the underwater experience that I have logged, this will be a walk in the park’! And I get to be a student in Koh Samui, a beautiful Island in Thailand, plus the Army pays for it! Now how good is that?
Camille, (Course Director) was beyond doubt a truly outstanding professional. From my initial email asking about the course to him seeing me to the airport with my certificates in my hand. His energy and enthusiasm throughout the course were infectious, and these are rare qualities. So impressed with these qualities I decided to extend my OWSI Course and become a Specialty Instructor in 11 Different specialties! Plus phoned my girlfriend and told her to ‘get on a plane with your diving gear, you are going to be an MSDT!’ Which she did and now has the certification!
I learnt so much from Camille beyond my 22 years as a Military Diver, which was a shock.
I fully endorse the experience of attending an IDC with Camille and if you get the chance ask him to take you on some Specialty Courses. Small Groups / Individual instruction were a complete pleasure and the knowledge, priceless!
